What is unique about the book?
Treachery and Triumph - An Anthology of World War II Stories  is a fascinating mixture of history, reminiscence and fiction, and will give the reader a unique insight into life during WWII. The reader will be able to stare into the past with the eyes of those gripped by its drama as most of the 14 contributing authors lived through the war; some in active service, while others have personally met the veterans who actually fought in the war and others have researched and written extensively on World War II. The view point of the stories is from an assortment of perspectives; those at the front, those left behind, the young at school and the old in the twilight of their years. Treachery and Triumph is like a kaleidoscope reflecting several fascinating real-life/ fictional World War II Stories from a variety of angles and positions.

Book development history

In December 2013, one of our authors read an anthology of Christmas murder stories, he suggested Pneuma Springs  produce an Anthology of Christmas Murders for the following Christmas. Pneuma Springs have a respectable stable of crime/fiction writers and we selected ten of our best crime/fiction authors to contribute an original short story to the anthology. An Anthology of Christmas Murders - Terror, Tinsel and Turkey was released in time for the Christmas of 2014. Following the  successful release of the first anthology and several enquiries received about another anthology, Pneuma  Springs decided to produce an  anthology  about one of the most defining periods in human history - World-War II, to commemorate seventy years after the end of hostilities.  Pneuma Springs chose 14 authors experienced in their field to contribute an original short story and this gave birth to Treachery and Triumph - An Anthology of World War II Stories - a fascinating mixture of history, reminiscence and fiction, into life during WWII.

Contributors: Editor: Jeremy Moiser | Authors - Karl Brockmann, Annie Coyle Martin, Julius Falconer, Peter Good, Neal James, Andrew Malloy, Steve Morris, Neil Morton, Ron Ooms, Chris Pownall, Derek Rosser, Avril Saunders, Derek Smith, Louise Wilkinson.

P. S. All the stories have been especially written for this Anthology by writers experienced in their field. Pneuma Springs is proud to present it to commemorate seventy years after the end of hostilities.
